Description

HiStrep™ Latex Test Kit is a rapid latex agglutination slide test for grouping Streptococci of Lancefield groups A, B, C, D, F and G from culture plates. This test depends on the agglutination of antibody coated latex particles with antigens from corresponding microorganisms. Latex particles in the HiStrep™ Latex Test Kit are individually sensitized with rabbit antibodies specific to one of the Streptococcal carbohydrate antigens of groups A, B,C, D, F or G. This kit is extremely rapid (typically less than 15 minutes) and simple to perform, can be read by eye and do not require expensive equipment. The kit is inended for in vitro diagnostic use only.
