Liquid Transport Medium with Swabs#4fa25a
Transport swabs w/Amies Medium (C) contains three different sterile flocked swabs, one with yellow coloured standard sterile flocked swab with regular shaft having red scored break point. Other with blue coloured standard sterile flocked swab with narrow shaft having red scored break point. The third with Mini flocked tip swab. with narrow shaft. It is recommended for recovery of aerobic, anaerobic and fastidious bacteria from throat, vaginal and wound specimens. The specimen
will be preserved during transportation and also the viability of the organisms will be maintained. For optimum results, the time lapse between sample collection and inoculum onto culture
medium should be reduced to the minimum.
