This kit simplifies isolation of RNA from various water samples with vacuum based innovative Super? S column technology. For RNA purification, the water sample is passed through a 0.22 m filter membrane and the micro-organisms present in the water are trapped. The membrane is then placed in a Hi-Water Bead tube for thorough lysis in presence of a Lysis Buffer. After the inhibitor removal step, the RNA is purified using Super S columns which contains specially developed membranes for optimal binding of genomic RNA. After the initial binding of RNA, impurities like proteins, polysaccharides, low molecular weight metabolites and salts are removed by short washing steps. high-quality RNA is finally eluted in the Elution Buffer.
