Hi-UV™ Max Capture is used in molecular biology labs to view DNA, and RNA that has been separated by electrophoresis through an agarose gel. It is used as a hood over the UV transilluminator that also simultaneously allows user to have a clearer view of the gel beneath, while it helps to click better images of the gel for data collection. It is also used to view protein gels.
