HiAdipoXL™ Adipogenic Differentiation Medium for 3T3-L1 cells

HiAdipoXLTM Adipogenic Differentiation Medium is optimized for adipogenic differentiation of actively proliferating pre-adipocytes in vitro. 3T3-L1 cells are pre adipocytic in nature. Adipogenesis is the process of development of adipocytes from pre-adipocytes or re-engineered fibroblasts or mesenchymal stem cells and is achieved both through proliferation and differentiation of preadipocytes. For complete differentaition of pre-adipocytes, cells are cultured in control medium to achieve an optimum density. Contact inhibition leads to their growth arrest. The differentiation medium 1 and 2 provides the cells with appropriate combination of mitogenic and adipogenic signals to continue through the subsequent differentiation that leads to the progressive acquisition of the morphological and biochemical characteristics of the mature adipocytes.
