Description

Casitose Agar w/ 1.5% Agar is used as a general purpose culture medium. This medium is the modification of medium recommended by APHA for same purpose. It has rich source of carbon and nitrogen supplied by Tryptone, peptone, Beef infusion from and yeast autolyaste. Sodium phosphate buffers the media whereas sodium chloride balances the osmotic equilibrium.
