Hi-PCR® Newcastle Disease Virus (NDV) Semi-Q PCR Kit
The Hi‐PCR® New Castle Disease Virus (NDV) Semi‐Q PCR Kit is a qualitative conventional PCR kit which includes the amplification of matrix (M) gene (121 bp) of NDV using specific primers. The amplified target is detected by using agarose gel electrophoresis. Gel electrophoresis is used to analyze the amplification of desired gene region for target pathogen based on separation of DNA fragments according to theirsize. This kit also contains Positive control.

Newcastle disease virus(NDV) – A type strain for avian paramyxoviruses. Members of thisfamily have a single-stranded, linear, RNA, with an elliptical symmetry. The total genome is roughly 16,000 nucleotides. NDV is a contagious and fatal viral disease affecting most species of birds. Clinical signs are extremely variable depending on the strain of virus, species and age of the bird, concurrent disease, and preexisting immunity.
