Hi-Gx360® Targeted Capture & Enrichment of DNA libraries

The HiGx360® Target capture & enrichment protocol describes the steps necessary for target enrichment of an NGS library prepared from DNA. This protocol is compatible with libraries prepared using HiGx360® DNA Library Preparation kits. Blocker Mix B provided in this kit is compatible with ligation-based library preparation techniques that use 6-base and 8-base, single and dual indexing schemes. Once the Blocker Mix B prevents non-specific hybridization between adapter sequences, 5′ biotin-modified oligonucleotide probes are used to capture the region of interest for sequencing. Hi-Gx360® Targeted Capture & Enrichment of DNA libraries utilizes specific probes to isolate genomic regions of interest from complex background sequences. This process facilitates hybrid selection enrichment and targeted capture for molecular diagnostic assay development and deep variant analysis.
