T4 DNA Ligase (400U/µl)

T4 DNA Ligase catalyzes the formation of a phosphodiester bond between juxtaposed 5'- phosphate and 3'-hydroxyl termini in duplex RNA or DNA. This enzyme will join blunt-end and cohesive end termini as well as repair single stranded nicks in duplex DNA, RNA or DNA- RNA hybrids. T4 DNA Ligase (400U/µl) is an ATP dependent enzyme used to seal nicks in the sugar phosphate backbone of DNA. The Ligase Enzyme supports Blunt End Joining and cohesive terminus ligation for Recombinant DNA Fragment Assembly and genetic engineering.
