Hugh Leifson Glucose HiVeg™ Medium is used for differentiation of Staphylococci from Micrococci on the basis of anaerobic fermentation of glucose. This medium helps in differentiation of Staphylococci from Micrococci on the basis of anaerobic fermentation of glucose. This medium is prepared by replacing animal peptones with vegetable defined peptones to avoid BSE/TSE/GMO risk.
