Hi-Sensitivity Test HiVeg™ Broth is recommended for antimicrobial susceptibility tests. The media is a semi-defined in which the mineral contents have been stabilized to give reproducible results. The thiamine and thymidine content is very low which makes it suitable for testing antimicrobial activity of sulphonamides. This medium is prepared by replacing animal peptones with vegetable defined peptones to avoid BSE/TSE/GMO risk.
