Charcoal HiVeg™ Agar Base w/ Niacin is recommended for the cultivation and isolation of Bordetella pertussis and Haemophilus influenzae. The medium is used as a replacement for Bordet-Gengou Agar for isolation of B.pertussis and for the production of B.pertussis vaccines.
