Tris is the common name of tris (hydroxymethyl) aminomethane. It is a primary amine and is effective as a buffer in the pH range between 7.0 and 9.2. Tris does not precipitate calcium salts and maintains solubility of manganese salts. It has a low UV absorbance but strong temperature sensitivity. This buffer is supplied as 1M.
1M Tris Buffer, pH 6.8 is a standardized liquid reagent used to facilitate the sharp focusing of protein bands in vertical gel matrices. This Tris Buffer serves as a Stacking Buffer for PH Stabilization during any professional Molecular SDS PAGE Analysis and research.
Primary amine effective as a buffer sonsisting of 1M Tris. It has a pre-adjusted pH of 6.8 with varing applications including nucleic acid purification.
