The colorless, highly sensitive TMB Substrate Solution (For Western Blotting) contains soluble TMB (3,3',5,5'‐tetramethylbenzidine), which quickly reacts with horseradish peroxidase (HRP) enzyme to produce an insoluble and stable dark blue precipitate. This colorimetric and precipitating chromogenic substrate has been optimized to reduce membrane background and compatible with both nitrocellulose and PVDF membranes. TMB Substrate Solution (For Western Blotting) is not compatible with ELISA applications due to the formation of insoluble end product. TMB Substrate Solution serves as a sensitive chromogenic detection reagent for measuring HRP enzyme activity in ELISA and blotting formats. It produces a stable colorimetric signal for quantitative analysis in molecular clinical diagnostic research and pathogen detection.
TMB Substrate Solution (For Western Blotting) is a single-component horseradish peroxidase (HRP) substrate for Western blotting and immunohistochemistry experiments. It contains soluble TMB (3,3',5,5'-tetramethylbenzidine), which quickly reacts with horseradish peroxidase (HRP) enzyme to produce an insoluble and stable dark blue precipitate.
