Stripping Buffer is gentle and effective on both nitrocellulose and PVDF Western blot membranes. Stripping buffer facilitates the complete antibody removal process from western blot membranes without compromising the immobilized proteins. It allows for membrane regeneration and multiple reprobing cycles during molecular diagnostic research screening of limited samples.
Stripping Buffer is used for breaking antibody-antigen interactions to remove primary and secondary antibodies from the nitrocellulose and PVDF membranes which subsequently can be reprobed several times using different antibodies. Blots can be stripped multiple times for the repeated use of
membranes.
