Recommended for detection and enumeration of total coliforms and E.coli based on chromogenic differentiation. The medium detects beta-glucuronidase activity of Escherichia coli . Other coliforms torn red as they reduce TTC 2,3,5-triphenyl tetrazolium chloride. Bile salts inhibit gram positive bacteria. Sterile pad is supplied in sterile disposable bag. Membrane filter is not supplied .
