Recommended for total bacterial detection and enumeration by membrane filtration. It determines plate counts of microorganisms in food, water, waste water . TTC in the medium renders red colour to the colonies for better visibility. The Agar medium is recommended by APHA and FDA for plate counts using serial dilutions by pour plate technique or surface spread. Sterile pad is supplied in sterile Petri plate . Membrane filter is not supplied .
