EHP (Enterocytozoon hepatopenaei) and WSSV (white spot syndrome virus) infections are amongst the most significant threat diseases in shrimp aquaculture. EHP is an obligate, intracellular, spore?forming parasite, which mainly infects the gastrointestinal tract of shrimps.
