Hi-PCR® Hemorrhagic septicemia (HS) SYBr PCR Kit

Hemorrhagic Septicemia (HS) is an acute, fatal, septicemic disease of cattle and water buffaloes caused by certain serotypes of a gram-negative bacterium Pasteurella multocida. In India, during the past four decades, it has been found that HS accounted for 46–55% of all bovine deaths. The diagnosis of HS depends on the isolation of the causative organism, P. multocida, by cultural and biological methods, and the identification of the organism by biochemical, serological and molecular methods.The Hi-PCR® Hemorrhagic septicemia (HS) SYBr PCR Kit is designed for detection of specific sequence of manganese-dependent superoxide dismutase (sodA) gene giving amplification of 146 bp product for Pasteurella multocida in clinical samples.
