Chlorella Broth Base w/o Dextrose and Citrate is sed for cultivation of Chlorella.This medium supplies the necessary nutrients for the rapid growth of Chlorella species. All algae utilize inorganic phosphates and sulphates in the medium. There is a fairly high requirement of molybdate as a trace metal in nitrogen fixation. Algae cultures may be enriched in this medium prior to culturing on agar medium.
