HiPer® GMO Detection Teaching Kit demonstrates detection of GMO (Genetically Modified Organism) by PCR.
It identifies the presence of genetically modified elements in plant or food samples. The assay focuses on CaMV 35S Promoter Identification to achieve definitive GMO Testing for Food Safety Molecular Surveillance and agricultural research.
HiPer® GMO Detection Teaching Kit is designed for the detection of specific sequences of 35S gene and nos terminator gene from a GMO sample. Two PCR reactions are performed for each sample. Target
sequences only found in the GMO are amplified using primers that have been designed to specifically bind
them during the PCR reaction. The resulting PCR product can be detected through agarose gel
electrophoresis.
