HiPer® Plant Genomic DNA Extraction Teaching Kit (Solution Based) is for hands on experience for extraction of genomic DNA from leaves by solution based method.
It uses ionic detergents to break down tough cellulose walls and stabilize nucleic acids. This DNA Extraction module follows the CTAB Method to provide high quality Plant DNA for any Phytopathology Genetic Laboratory Study.
HiPer® Plant Genomic DNA Extraction Teaching Kit (Solution Based) is for isolation of genomic DNA from leaf tissue by CTAB method. The CTAB (Cetyltrimethyl ammonium bromide) method can be used both for freeze dried leaves and for fresh leaves. CTAB is a detergent used to break open plant cells and solubilize its contents.
