HiPurA® Pre-filled Plates for Yeast DNA Purification

HiPurA® Pre-filled Plates for Yeast DNA Purification are high throughput formats containing pre dispensed reagents for the rapid isolation of genomic material from fungal cultures. This Yeast DNA system utilizes Magnetic Bead Technology for DNA Purification during professional Molecular Mycological Genome Analysis and research. This kit simplifies isolation of DNA from yeast by the magnetic bead‐ based procedure. Yeast cells (Saccharomyces cerevisiae, Candida albicans), are grown in log phase and spheroplasts are subsequently prepared. Following lysis, the DNA is bound to magnetic beads. Rapid wash steps remove trace amount of salt and protein contaminants resulting in the elution of pure DNA in the Elution Buffer in the plate.
