HiPurA® Pre-filled Plates for Shrimp DNA Purification

HiPurA® Pre-filled Plates for Shrimp DNA Purification provide a high throughput format for the automated recovery of genetic material from crustacean tissues. This Shrimp DNA system utilizes Magnetic Bead Technology for DNA Purification during professional Molecular Aquaculture Health Screening and pathogen surveillance. This kit simplifies isolation of DNA from shrimp tissue samples with magnetic based procedure. Shrimp tissue (spliced and digested) is subjected to lysis by Proteinase K in a chaotropic salt solution. Following lysis, isthe adsorption of nucleic acid to the magnetic beads,removal of residual contaminants and elution of pure nucleic acid. The magnetic beads have a high binding capacity and high‐quality DNA is obtained from shrimp samples.
