This media isvused for the classification of yeast strains based on the carbon and nitrogen requirements and it contains almost all the essential vitamins and inorganic salts except Thiamine HCL which are required for the propagation of yeast cells. Furthermore, this media does not contain the amino acids. Addition of aminoa acids and carbon sources is required. Used for preparation of SD/SDA
