Pluronic® F-68 is a co-polymer of ethylene and propylene oxide. It is a non-ionic detergent and is used as an anti-foaming agent in cell culture. It helps in stabilizing the cell membranes against the shear forces exerted during batch culture processes. It is suitable for insect cell culture. TCL023 is sterile filtered 10% Pluronic® F-68 solution.

TCL035 is sterile filtered recombinant human insulin solution formulated to contain 10mg recombinant human insulin per ml.

Fraction V gets its name "Cohn Fraction V" on account of its fractionation by the Edward Cohn purification methodology using cold ethanol precipitation. It also serves as protective agent against toxic metabolites.TCL036 is sterile filtered 7.5% albumin bovine fraction V solution in Dulbecco's Phosphate Buffered saline.

HAT supplement contains Hypoxanthine, Aminopterin and Thymidine and is used for the preparation of selection medium for hybridoma. The myeloma cell is deficient in enzyme hypoxanthine-guanine phosphoribosyl transferase (HGPRT) or thymidine kinase (TK), and cannot survive in selection medium containing hypoxanthine, aminopterin and thymidine. TCL072 is a sterile filtered 50X HAT medium supplement containing 680.5 mg/litre Hypoxanthine, 8.8 mg/litre Aminopterin and 193.8 mg/litre Thymidine in Phosphate Buffered Saline.

The specific action of aminopterin present in the HAT system is to inhibit the de novo DNA synthesis. Hence, it needs to be eliminated once the hybrids are selected and isolated. Aminopterin is diluted by several passages in hypoxanthine-thymidine (HT) supplemented medium for about 2-3 weeks. Once the de novo nucleoside-synthesis pathway has been reinstated, HT supplementation can be discontinued. TCL073 is a sterile filtered, cell culture tested 50X HT medium supplement containing 680.5 mg/litre Hypoxanthine and 193.8 mg/litre Thymidine in Phosphate Buffered Saline.

TCL077 is sterile solution formulated to contain 45% w/v glucose in tissue culture grade water. This solution is sterilized by autoclaving.

Giemsa stain is a mixture of methylene blue, eosin, and azure B. It is specific for the phosphate groups of DNA and attaches itself to where there are high amounts of adenine thymine bonding. Giemsa stain is mainly used for staining of peripheral blood smears and specimens obtained from the bone marrow. Giemsa stain is also used in cytogenetics to stain the chromosomes and identify chromosomal aberrations. TCL083 is a sterile filtered concentrated solution of Giemsa stain.

DMEM is a modification of Basal Medium Eagle (BME) that contains four-fold concentration of amino acids and vitamins. Dulbecco's Modified Eagle Medium is with 1gm per litre glucose, sodium bicarbonate and sodium pyruvate. It does not contain L-glutamine.

RM10969 is Fetal bovine serum collected from approved abattoirs in New Zealand. New Zealand is considered to be free of BSE and FMD and belongs to GBR 1 category and thus, assures the lowest possible viral risk. New Zealand-origin serum is most commonly used in the production of many human and animal biopharmaceuticals and is proven to support the needs of industrial biopharmaceutical manufacturers.

RM10978 is gamma irradiated Fetal Bovine Serum. Gamma irradiation minimizes the risk of viruses in animal origin material as it reduces or eliminates wide range of viruses and mycoplasmas, which may be present in the serum after filtration, thus enhancing biological safety of the serum. It is gamma irradiated with 25- 35kGy dose. This serum has been collected from approved abattoirs in New Zealand.
