Amberlite® IRA-400 is Strongly basic gel-type resin, quaternary ammonium functionality. Amberlite® IRA-400 is a macroporous, strong basic anion exchange resin. This resin sorbed with cresol red is used as packaging material in column chromatography and for preconcentration and recovery of Hg2+ ions from waste discharged from industries.
