10X TAE buffer is used for electrophoresis of nucleic acids after diluting it to 1X. It has a lower buffer capacity than TBE; however linear dsDNA tends to run faster in TAE than in TBE buffer. TAE Buffer is commonly used in low voltage DNA electrophoresis applications. It's relatively low buffering capacity will become exhausted in extended or high current runs, making buffer recirculation necessary in such runs.
10X TAE is a concentrated running buffer composed of Tris, acetic acid, and EDTA used for the resolution of double stranded DNA. This TAE Buffer serves as a standard Electrophoresis Reagent for Nucleic Acid during any professional Molecular Agarose Gel Migration and fragment recovery.
Mostly commonly user buffer for agarose gel electrophoresis.Ideal for resolution of DNA fragments greather than 4KB with superior resolution of supercoiled DNA and faster migration capacity. Avaliable as 10X concetration.
