Klebsiella aerogenes ATCC® 13048™* (Formerly known as Enterobacter aerogenes)

EZ-CFU™ is designed to simplify Growth Promotion Testing (GPT) of culture media. Each EZ-CFU™ lyophilized quality control microorganism preparation delivers 10–100 CFU per 0.1 mL inoculum following a simple 1:10 dilution in pH 7.2 phosphate buffer. After the dilution step, a single EZ-CFU™ suspension provides more than 90 inocula, making it a cost-effective and efficient solution for routine microbiological quality control testing. EZ-CFU™ microorganisms are maintained at three or fewer passages from the reference strain, ensuring reliable performance and consistency in testing applications.
