TC698 DODECYL SULPHATE SODIUM SALT, also known as lauryl sulfate. It is an ionic detergent that is useful for the rapid disruption of biological membranes. It simply disrupts membrane proteins and lipids, break the nuclear pores and makes it expose its DNA inside thereby separating it from histones.
