Description

Tryptone Soya Yeast Extract HiVeg™ Agar is recommended for confirmation of Listeria in Henry’s light. Hiveg medium is used for the isolation and cultivation of L.monocytogenes from foods. ISO Committee has recommended this medium for confirmation of Listeria species and can also be used for the cultivation and maintenance of a wide variety of heterotrophic microorganisms. This medium is prepared by replacing animal peptones with vegetable defined peptones to avoid BSE/TSE/GMO risk.
