20X MES-SDS Running Buffer is used for electrophoresis of proteins on Bis-Tris gels only. This buffer is used for resolving protein samples of very small to medium sized proteins. This pre-mixed buffer is supplied as a 20X concentrated solution. 20X MES-SDS Running Buffer provides optimal conditions for resolving low molecular weight fragments and peptides. This concentrated running buffer facilitates peptide resolution analysis during molecular biology research screening of small proteins.
20X MES-SDS Running Buffer is used for electrophoresis of proteins on Bis-Tris gels only. This buffer is used for resolving protein samples of very small to medium sized proteins in the range of 2-50 Kda. It contains 1M MES, 1M Tris base, 2% SDS and 20mM EDTA. A reducing agent, Sodium bisulphite, has to be added in this buffer before electrophoresis.
