Icosa disc is an enhanced extension of Single Discs. This disc gives the privilege to study 20 different antibiotics on a single plate. Flat circular ring of inert material with 12 & 8 equidistant arms on the outer & inner periphery respectively with a 6 mm filter paper disc at the end. Each disc is impregnated w/ different antibiotic, with corresponding symbol & concentration printed on the ring for easy identification. The unique inert material used for making the rings allows faster absorption of the rings and hence a uniform diffusion of the antibiotics on to the medium.
Icosa Pseudo - 2 has combination of antibiotics that aid antibiotic susceptibility testing of UTI Pathogenic Organisms.
