HiPurA® NA Binding Magnetic Beads
The nucleic acid binds selectively to the silica coated beads and the contaminants are left behind in the solution. When a magnetic field is applied, it attracts the magnetic beads to the outer edge of the tube thus making them immobile. These immobilized beads with the bound nucleic acids are retained during washing steps. The addition of elution buffer will help the release of pure nucleic acids, which can be used for further downstream applications.
