Avian influenza (AI), commonly known as bird flu, has caused huge economic losses to the poultry farmers in India through several outbreaks and the culling of chickens. In this scenario, surveillance is one of the best tools for risk assessment in the poultry population. HiPurA® Avian Influenza Antibody Detection ELISA Kit is based on an indirect enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) and is useful for the qualitative detection of antibodies against H1-H16 AIV subtypes in chicken serum samples from an unvaccinated population.
