CF047 is a lyophilized recombinant human IL-4 expressed in E.coli, filtered through 0.22μ membrane filter. It plays an important role in regulation of inflammation and immune responses. IL-4 has been shown to display strong anti-proliferative effect on some human non-small cell lung carcinoma cell lines in vitro and in vivo.
Interleukins are a group of multifunctional cytokines derived from activated lymphocytes and macrophages. Interleukin 4 (IL-4) is a globular protein containing 130 amino acids. It is secreted by mast cells, T cells and bone marrow stromal cells. It plays an important role in regulation of inflammation and immune responses. IL-4 regulates differentiation of naïve CD4+ T helper cells into Th2 cells. IL-4 displays a strong anti-proliferative effect on some human non-small cell lung carcinoma cell lines in vitro and in vivo.
