Hi-Gel Run 100 Well is a 100 well electrophoresis assembly that can also be used to cast gels and is compatible with multichannel pippetes. Hi-Gel® Run 100 Well is a large capacity horizontal electrophoresis chamber designed for the simultaneous analysis of numerous genetic samples. This Electrophoresis Tank facilitates High Throughput Gel Migration for professional Molecular DNA Fragment Screening and population genetics research.
Electrophoresis procedure using Hi-Gel Run 100 Well electrophoresis apparatus is carried out by loading the samples on a gel (either agarose or polyacrylamide gel) which is casted in a casting apparatus. The gel is then run in the presence of appropriate buffers with electric current passed across the positive and negative terminals using an electric power supply/ power pack. The samples gradually move depending on the size of the DNA or Protein which is determined by the molecular weights.
